Abstract
ABSTRACT several disease and conditions such as common cold or fever elevate the body temperature. the use of process in determining these body temperatures in other for diagnosis has a common goal of scientists. This research work in other to help make this determining easy, was aimed at designing and constructing patient monitoring system with high and low body temperature alarm, useful in our homes or other places. The approach utilized was in two) stage including hardware Component Description and software Description that was construed and tested in three (3) different Medical Centers in Nasarawa. From the analysis carried out, the result showed an f-value of 0. 124 with p-value 0. 707 which implies that there is no significant difference between the clinical and fabricated device at 5% level of significance. it was then concluded that the construed temperature monitoring system works as expected and is in accordance to the laid-out principle of the project design. I further recommended that the research work be patronized in other to help the ordinary people to easily get access to it due to its low coast and accurate performance
