Abstract
This study examines the influence of emotional intelligence on leadership styles among medical doctors. Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to recognize and understand emotions in oneself and others, and to use this awareness to guide thought and behavior. Leadership style, on the other hand, refers to the approach or manner in which a leader influences and motivates others to achieve organizational goals. The study investigates the relationship between EI and leadership styles among medical doctors, with a focus on the impact of EI on transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire leadership styles. The findings of this study have implications for leadership development and training programs in healthcare settings, highlighting the importance of EI in effective medical leadership.
