Abstract
Cellulose extracted from yellow corn cobs was analyzed using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy-dispersive spectroscopy (SEM-EDS) to determine its structural and morphological properties. XRD analysis revealed the crystalline nature of the cellulose, with a crystallinity index of [insert value]. SEM-EDS analysis showed the surface morphology and elemental composition of the cellulose, indicating a [insert description] structure with [insert elements] present. The results suggest that cellulose from yellow corn cobs has potential applications in [insert field, e.g., biotechnology, materials science]. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of XRD and SEM-EDS in characterizing the properties of cellulose from agricultural waste, providing valuable insights for its utilization in various industries.
