Abstract
This project focuses on the design and development of an electric vehicle by modifying a conventional rickshaw. The aim is to create an eco-friendly, cost-effective, and sustainable transportation solution for short-distance commutes. The modified rickshaw will be equipped with an electric motor, rechargeable battery, and a control system, replacing the traditional internal combustion engine. The design process involves analyzing the existing rickshaw design, selecting suitable electric motor and battery specifications, and integrating the electric powertrain with the rickshaw's chassis and body. The outcome is expected to be a reduced environmental impact, lower operating costs, improved passenger comfort and safety features, and an enhanced driving experience. This project demonstrates a viable solution for the electrification of traditional rickshaws, contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation sector.
