Abstract
ABSTRACT The Mobile Class Attendance Management System using GPS is designed to address the inefficiencies associated with traditional attendance tracking methods. The system leverages GPS technology to automatically verify a student's presence within a predefined location and mark attendance accordingly. The system was developed using "Android Studio, Java Android Studio, and MySQL", ensuring a real-time, cloud-based solution. Key functionalities include user authentication, GPS-based attendance verification, attendance recording, class schedule management, and attendance report generation. Through rigorous testing, including unit, integration, system, and usability testing, the system was validated to meet functional requirements. Despite its advantages, the system has limitations, such as reliance on internet connectivity and GPS accuracy. Future enhancements could include biometric authentication, offline mode, and advanced analytics for attendance monitoring. This project demonstrates the potential of "GPS technology in automating attendance tracking", providing an efficient and reliable solution for educational institutions.
