Abstract
The Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020 introduced significant reforms to enhance corporate governance, improve business operations, and simplify regulatory processes for Nigerian companies. This project examines the innovative provisions of CAMA 2020, including single-shareholder companies, electronic filings, virtual meetings, and new corporate accountability standards. By analysing these changes, the study highlights their potential to reduce administrative burdens, foster transparency, and encourage foreign investment, ultimately strengthening Nigeria’s business environment and economic growth.
