An Assessment of Public Relation Techniques in Conflict Resolution of Companies in Nigeria (a Case Study of Indorama Eleme Petrochemical Limited)

Abstract
The study is aimed at assessing public relations techniques in conflict resolution of companies in Nigeria Indorama Eleme petrochemical Limited. To this effect, the researcher in order to elicit adequate information adopted the survey design and mixed method which requires the interview and the distribution of questionnaires to workers of Indorama Eleme Petrochemical Limited. To achieve this, four objectives were set with equivalent four research questions. The system theory and stakeholder’s Theory guided the study. Sample of 306 was arrived at using Kryce and Morgan sampling table from the population of over 1500 workers. The researcher was able to assess the techniques in Indorama Eleme petrochemical, its prospects, challenges, and findings as a result of carrying out the study. The researcher therefore from his observation and responses from respondents made four recommendations that will guide further studies. Finally it was concluded that public relations play effective role in Indorama ElemePetrochemical Limited, despite the challenges faced by the department
