Abstract
Inventory management plays a vital role in the efficient operation of any organization that deals with goods and materials. The manual method of inventory control often results in problems such as inaccuracy, data loss, and inefficiency in stock management. This project focuses on the design and implementation of an Automated Inventory Control System for Nigerian Breweries PLC, Enugu Depot, aimed at solving these challenges. The system was designed to automatically record, update, and monitor inventory transactions, thereby improving accuracy, reducing human error, and saving time. The implementation was carried out using Visual Basic 6.0 as the front-end and Microsoft Access 2007 as the back-end database. The automated system ensures real-time data processing, efficient report generation, and secure data storage. With this system, Nigerian Breweries can enhance operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and ensure accurate inventory management.
