Abstract
ABSTRACT The design and implementation of a Staff Identification System using QR codes offers an efficient and secure method for staff authentication and management in various organizational environments. This system leverages QR code technology to provide a quick and reliable means of identifying employees by scanning unique QR codes linked to their personal and professional information. The project aims to enhance the accuracy, speed, and security of staff attendance, access control, and identity verification processes. The system consists of a user-friendly mobile application or web interface for staff registration, QR code generation, and scanning. Upon scanning, the system retrieves relevant staff data from a secure database and displays or records the necessary information. This paper discusses the design methodology, system architecture, implementation strategies, and the integration of QR codes with database management systems. The proposed system significantly reduces the possibility of human error and unauthorized access, streamlining the workflow and improving overall operational efficiency in organizational settings. The implementation of such a system can be extended to multiple sectors such as corporate offices, schools, healthcare institutions, and government organizations for effective staff management.
