Response of Bambara Nut (vigna Subterranean.) Varieties to Phosphorus Fertilizer in Savannah Region of Nigeria

Abstract
This study consist of a findings of a field trial conducted at Binyaminu Usman Polytechnic research farm located at new site during 2023 rainy season to evaluate the Response of Bambara Nut to phosphorus Fertilizer in Savannah Region of Nigeria. The experiment comprised of eight treatments made from a factorial combination of two cowpea varieties (IT-573 and IT-216) and four (4) phosphorus (P 2 O 5 ) levels including the control (0 kg/ha, 20 kg/ha, 40 kg/ha and 60 kg/ha). The treatments were laid out in a randomized complete block design and replicated three times. The study revealed that most of the growth characters were not affected by the treatments, the differences therein was just by chance.
