Abstract
The research delves into the engineering properties of tropical soil residual, focusing on index properties and their significance in understanding soil characteristics. The study aims to investigate failure causes in tropical residual soil, determine appropriate foundations, and analyze shear strength for construction purposes. By examining these aspects, the research seeks to enhance the understanding of soil behavior in tropical regions, aiding in the development of effective construction practices.
