Abstract
This study evaluated the effect of agricultural wastes on soil properties, growth and yield of okra (Abelmoschus exculentus) in Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba, Kogi State. The experiment was conducted at Kogi State University green house, Anyigba during the 2023 cropping season in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with six treatments and three (3) replications making a total number of 18 pots. The treatments were; 10t/ha poultry manure, 10 t/ha pig dung, 10 t/ha cow dung, 10 t/ha goat droppings and 10 t/ha wood ash and a control. Data on soil chemical properties, growth and yield parameters were subjected to analysis of variance using GENSTAT Discovery Software while significant means were separated using Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5 % level of probability.
