Abstract
Abstract The study assessed mass media campaigns on good governance and its influences on the Nigeria electorate, with a focus on Enugu urban residents and the 2023 general elections in Nigeria. The study was anchored on the Agenda-setting theory. The researcher adopted the survey research method for the study. A sample of 400 was drawn from a population of 1,092,668 using the Taro Yamane statistical tool. The measuring instrument of the study was the questionnaire. The research questions were analysed using simple percentage table while the research hypotheses were tested using the Chi-Square statistical table. Findings revealed that There is significant relationship between the mass media and good governance. The researcher recommended amongst others, that there is need to create accountability systems for establishing more transparent relationship with their audiences.
