Effect of Moringa Oleifera Seeds Powder Supplementation on Feed Intake of Broiler Finisher Chickens in Maiduguri

Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study was carried out to determine the effect of Moringa oleifera seed powder
supplementation of broiler finisher chicken on feed intake in Maiduguri. A total of
(40) broiler chickens at finisher phase were randomly allocated to four (4) dietary
treatments with 0g/kg, 10g/kg, 20g/kg and 30g/kg of Moringa oleifera seed powder
supplementation for T1, T2, T3 and T4 respectively. Each treatment was replicated 2
times with 5 birds per replicate in a completely randomized design. The experiment
lasted for three (3) weeks. Data were generated for feed intake (daily feed intake,
weekly feed intake and total feed intake). Feed and water were given ad-libitum.
