Abstract
ABSTRACT
The main objective of this study is to examine fringe benefits and employeesperformance using Fidelity bank as case study. Other specific objectives of thisstudy are to examine the relationship between annual leave and employee'sperformance and define the relationship between maternity leave and employee'sperformance. A descriptive survey method was used for this study and theresearcher chose Fidelity bank plc and Zenith Bank, Auchi, Edo state as thestudied population. The sample size of 50 was determined using Yaro Yameneformula.The study made use of both primary and secondary source of datacollection. The data gathered were presented with tables and analyzed with simplepercentage and chi-square. Among the findings, it was discovered that annualleave has a significant relationship on employee's performance, secondly, it wasalso revealed that maternity leave has a significant relationship on employee'sperformance. It was recommended that management of Fidelity and Zenith Bank,Auchi, Edo state should embrace and extend the annual leave to all employees andshould make provision of maternity leave to enhance job performance amongemployees, by so doing employees will be motivated and satisfied with their jobsand this will enhance and improve their effort towards greater productivity.
