Organisational Climate and Employee Job Satisfaction (a Study of Beta Glass Plc, Ughelli)

Abstract
This study examined Organizational Climate and Employee Job Satisfaction in an
organization; A study of Beta Glass Plc, Ughelli. The major objective of the study was to
find out whether there is any relationship between organizational climate and job
performance. In carrying out this research work, the descriptive survey research design
was used. The population of the study constitute 40 respondents which comprises of
employees and management staff of Beta Glass Plc, Ughelli. A sample size of 36
respondents was used for the study. Questionnaire was the instrument used in gathering
data for the study. The findings from the study show that a good order of authority in
organizational structure promotes job performance in an organization. Organizational
structure with employee’s commitment of subordinates promotes good morale and job
satisfaction, organizational structure allows staff participation in decision making so as
to promotes job performance. It was recommended that organizations should improve
organizational climate involving employees and management so as to enhance
employees’ job performance.
