An Assessment of the Challenges and Prospects of Microfinance Banking System

Abstract
This project topic is center on an Assessment of the challenges and
prospect of micro finance banking system. Over the years there has been
a problem of incorrect and unreliable financial record which has led to
loss of organizational integrity. The objective of this research to see the
important of micro finance bank in the banking sector and how it provide
services to general public and also low earners. The data is collected
using both primary and secondary sources and questionnaire were
administered to gather the needed information, the population was
conducted to the entire staff of LAPO micro finance bank of Kaura
Namoda, the sampling is taking from the total population of staff which is
8, the summary of findings in this research show that the micro finance
bank bring development in the economy of Nigeria and also provide
affordable banking services to its populace.
