Influence of Financial Reward on Secondary School Teachers’ Productivity in Ijebu-Ode, Area of Ogun State

Abstract
This research was on the influence of financial reward on secondary school teachers’ productivity in ijebu-ode, area of ogun state. Three objectives were stated, three research hypotheses were stated and answered. A descriptive survey was adopted, and multi-stage random sampling technique were used to select 100 respondents from the area of the study. A self-designed instrument i.e., influence of financial reward on secondary school teachers’ productivity projects questionnaire was administered and results showed that 40% of the respondents were male and 60% were female while age distribution showed that 29% were between the age of 30 – 40 years, 38% were between 40 – 50 years and 33% were between 50 – 60 years. The result of the Chi-square analysis showed that the two null hypotheses were rejected at 0.05 level of significance. It is concluded that poor community project management of community development have serious negative effect on the outcomes. Furthermore, it was concluded that the little evidence of community project management have positive but not significant effects on project outcomes. It is recommended that the government should also ensure that community benefitting from development projects are involved in the management and monitoring of the project to ensure positive outcomes. Also, government should fund community development associations to perform project management and impact evaluation.
