Abstract

This study was conducted to bring to the knowledge of people the sewing process and the use of Danshiki wears. This projects write up compress of the historical background of Danshiki wear among the Hausa people the northern part of this country. It contains the practical presentation of the various methods involved in the construction of Danshiki wear. The projects write up is therefore, presented in comprehensive way dealing with preliminary page, the body had five chapter body contents chapter one deals with the introduction of the projects topic background of the study, purpose and significance of the study with definition of terms in sewing. Chapter two comprises of literature review of the study and the beauty of Danshiki wear compared to other dresses. Chapter three deals with research design, tools and equipment in sewing, various segment in sewing process analysis and concept of clothing. Chapter four deals with layouts and discussion of the project topic. Chapter five comprise of summary, conclusion and recommendations to some various body and the polytechnic to strengthen both student and lecturers to work at ease for the comfort learning.
