Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study examines the impact of auditor’s report on financial performance of business using First Bank Offa as a case study. Three hypotheses were drawn up and tested in course of the study. The study adopted survey method of research and the questionnaire was grossly relied upon for data collection. A total of 20 questionnaires were produced and administered to the respondents of First Bank Offa. The simple percentage tool was used to test the hypotheses drawn up for the study. Result revelaed that, that auditors' reports play a critical role in enhancing financial transparency and accountability, which significantly influences stakeholders' confidence. Businesses rely on these reports to assess financial health, detect fraud, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The study also highlighted that a well-structured audit report helps management make informed decisions and attract potential investors. The study concluded that that auditors' reports play a vital role in business organizations by promoting accountability, transparency, and investor confidence. Recommedation were drwan from the findings of the study.
