Teachers’ Effectiveness and Ss1 Student Academic Performance in Mathematics in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State

Abstract
This study examines the impact of teachers’ effectiveness on SS1 students’ academic performance in mathematics in Ikom Local Government Area. Key factors such as subject knowledge, communication skills, instructional material use, and teacher-student relationship were analyzed. Findings show a strong link between teacher effectiveness and student performance, highlighting the need for improved teaching strategies.
