Effects of Class Size on Student's Performance in Geometric Among Senior Secondary Schools in Dutsin-Ma Metropolis

Abstract
ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to investigated the Effects of class size on students' performance ingeometric in Senior Secondary School in Dutsin-ma Metropolis. The target population comprisesall the students of public secondary schools in Dutsin-ma Metropolis. The sample that was used in this study was 117students in public schools which was selected using simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using achievement test and attitude scale. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics of mean, standard deviation and standard error as well as inferential statistics of t-test and one - way ANOVA. The findings indicated that: students in small class Perform in geometric better than those in the large class.It was alsorevealed that, attitude of in control group is higher than those in experimental group. Based on the findings, it is recommended that the Government should made provision of classes and employ more teachers in secondary schools in Dutsin-ma Metropo
