Abstract
The growing concern about climate change has increased interest in renewable energy, especially solar power. However, its adoption is limited by low awareness and complex technical concepts. Simulation games offer an engaging way to teach solar energy by allowing users to explore real-world scenarios interactively. Studies show they improve understanding, retention, and critical thinking. Existing tools like PVWatts, HOMER, and PVSyst are too complex for beginners and lack gamified features. Therefore, a simple, gamified solar energy simulation game is needed to make renewable energy education more accessible and engaging.
