Impact of Training Programmes on Job Satisfaction

Abstract
This research work is to examine the Impact of Training programmes on Job Satisfaction with a case study of Unilever Nigeria Plc, Apapa Lagos, Literature review, based on other scholars contribution to the subject, discussed overview of training, methods of training, benefits of training, employee performance, evaluation of training, relationship between training and development and employee performance which led to gap analysis as a conclusion of the chapter. The study adopted a case study approach where data was collected across a population through sampling of 48 employees at the Call Center which forms the Customer Care Division of Unilever Nig. Recommendation was later derived that there should be provision for training and education for the staff on cost effectiveness so as to enhance institutional competitive a capabilities, there is need to ensure profitability as the most dominant objective of the company and there should be strict observance of honesty disciplines dedication on the part of the employees.
