Abstract
Abstract
This study investigates the impact of chemistry education on entrepreneurial development among undergraduate and NCE students of the Federal College of Education, Kano, Nigeria. The main objective was to assess the relationship between entrepreneurship education and self-employment, as well as the influence of government support and student access to capital on entrepreneurial intentions. The study employed a descriptive survey design with data collected through structured questionnaires. Regression analysis revealed that 91.7% of variations in entrepreneurial intention were influenced by key factors such as attitude toward behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. The findings indicate that entrepreneurship education positively influences students’ readiness for self-employment, highlighting its role in addressing graduate unemployment in Nigeria. The study recommends strengthening entrepreneurship curricula and practical training to enhance students’ entrepreneurial capacity.
