Abstract
This research is on Training Facilities and Professional Development on Office Technology and Management (OTM) Students in Tertiary Institutions. Three research hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Ex-post Facto research design was used. The instrument for the study was a structured questionnaire titled “Training Facilities and Professional Development on Office Technology and Management (OTM) Students in Tertiary Institutions (TFPDOTM). A simple random sampling technique was used to select 60 subjects for the study. The results of the findings revealed that training facilities, which include computers, classrooms and libraries, influence the professional development of Office Technology and Management (OTM) students in tertiary institutions. Based on the findings and conclusion, recommendations were made that effort should be made towards the provision of training facilities in institutions for the effective learning process, and the government should create a platform where Office Technology education is introduced as a compulsory course to all youths.
