Motivational and Employees Productivity in an Organization (a Case Study of Selected Banks in Auchi, Edo State)

Abstract
This research examines the effect of motivation on employee productivity in selected banks in Auchi, Edo State. The study explores how various motivational tools such as salaries, bonuses, recognition, training, and working conditions influence the performance and commitment of employees. A descriptive research design was used, and data were collected through questionnaires administered to bank staff. The findings revealed that effective motivation significantly improves employees’ productivity, morale, and overall organizational performance. It was recommended that management should continuously develop motivational strategies to enhance efficiency and job satisfaction among employees.
