Abstract
This project presents the design and implementation of a fully automated solar object-avoiding lawn mower. With increasing environmental concerns, traditional gas-powered lawn mowers pose significant challenges due to their high carbon emissions and noise pollution. This study explores the integration of solar energy and advanced robotics to create a sustainable and efficient lawn care solution. The mower utilizes ultrasonic sensors for obstacle detection, enabling autonomous navigation while minimizing human intervention. The developed system is powered by a solar panel, ensuring energy efficiency and reduced operational costs. Initial testing demonstrates the mower's effectiveness in grass cutting and obstacle avoidance, highlighting its potential as a greener alternative in lawn maintenance. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on eco-friendly technologies and emphasizes the importance of renewable energy in everyday applications.
