Abstract

This study investigated the teachers attrition and students academic performance in history in public secondary schools in EDO State.To achieve the purpose of thestudy; four (4)research questions were raised and answered to guide the study:The randomsampling technique was employed to select samples for the study . The population of the study consist of the 14 public senior secondary schools in Oredo local government area of Edo State. The instrument thatwas used for the data collection was a structured questionnaire titled “ Teachers Attrition and Students Performance questionnaire “
