Abstract
The study investigates how social media platforms shape youth culture and consumerism among BOUESTI students. A survey method was used, with data collected through questionnaires administered to 200 students. Findings reveal that social media significantly impacts students’ lifestyles, fashion choices, and spending patterns. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok were identified as major influencers of consumption habits. The study recommends proper media literacy education to help youths critically assess online content and avoid negative consumer influences.
