Assessment of the Performance of Radio in Ekiti: a Study of Fresh Fm

Abstract
This research examines the performance of radio in Ekiti State using Fresh FM as a case study. The study assesses how effectively the station delivers information, education, and entertainment to its listeners. A survey method was employed, with 400 questionnaires distributed and 390 returned. Findings revealed that Fresh FM has a strong influence on public awareness, social development, and audience engagement. The study concludes that consistent quality programming and audience feedback significantly enhance radio performance.
