Effects of Immune Booster on Gastric Oxidative Marker in Lead Exposed Male Wistar Rats.

Abstract
Lead exposure is a significant environmental risk factor that can induce oxidative stress and impair gastric health. This study investigated the effects of an immune booster on gastric oxidative markers in lead-exposed male Wistar rats. Thirty male Wistar rats were divided into five groups: control, lead-exposed, lead-exposed + immune booster (low dose), lead-exposed + immune booster (high dose), and immune booster alone. Lead exposure was achieved through administration of lead acetate (100 mg/kg) for 4 weeks, while the immune booster was administered concurrently. Gastric tissues were assessed for malondialdehyde (MDA), glutathione (GSH), and catalase (CAT) activities.
