Evaluation of New Media Content on the Moral Upbringing of Ikere Youths

Abstract
This study evaluates the impact of new media content on the moral upbringing of youth in Ikere, Nigeria. The research collected data from 290 youth through a questionnaire, exploring their use and perceptions of new media content. The findings show that Ikere youth widely use new media content, appreciating its relevance, positive effects, and coverage of local issues. The study suggests areas for improvement, such as diversifying content to cater to youth preferences. The research provides insights into the role of new media content in promoting moral values and community connection among Nigerian youth, offering recommendations for media stakeholders to enhance its impact.
