The research aims to explore the various roles that social media played in the 2020 Ekiti gubernatorial election, understand how social media impacted the election outcome, and investigate residents' perceptions regarding social media's influence on the election. Through this examination, researchers seek to gain insights into the intricate relationship between social media, politics, and voter behavior in Ekiti State.
