Abstract

ABSTRACT The Robotics Laboratory in the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology currently utilizes a 3.5 kV solar power system to supply part of its electrical needs. However, limitations in transmission distance, system losses, and expandability have prompted the need for an upgrade to a 10 kV medium-voltage solar system. This project proposes to redesign and implement this upgrade by integrating a high-voltage solar inverter, a suitably rated transformer, enhanced earthing and protection systems, and optimized cable routing to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.
